New week, new horrors.

On to my podcast picks this week...
Were you ever a member of the Midnight Society? Did you even SNICK? "Are You Afraid of the Dark" was a pillar of 90s Saturday nights with Nickelodeon. I submit for your approval this fan-made podcast recapping episodes of the original TV show: "Are You Afraid of Are You Afraid of the Dark?" By far, the scariest episode from the classic Nickelodeon show was "The Tale of Laughing in the Dark" with Zeebo the Clown *shudder*: Season 1, Episode 2.
"The criminal clown who chain smoked cigars." LOL.

The countdown to Halloween continues, and so do the spooky recommendations. The "Haunted Places" podcast has been a top ten mainstay, and has new episodes every Thursday.
About: You’ve heard of haunted houses, haunted cemeteries, haunted islands... but do you know how a normal place can become a paranormal minefield? Every haunted place on earth has a frightening, real backstory.
The episode I selected is the story of the Bloody Mary... ugh...I don't wanna listen. Someone do it for me.

The economy can also be scary these days... amiright? I continue my recommendations of business podcasts this week with a classic: "Marketplace."
"The stock market is not the economy!" exclaims host Kai Ryssdal almost every other episode these days, especially since President Trump likes to talk about it all the time. The daily live radio show on NPR is podcasted every evening and is a must-listen for anyone interested in daily business/economic news in a very digestible format. Occasionally they will have stories about the world economy and the potential affect on the US.
“Kai dumbs it down without making me feel dumb,” [Sally Kilbridge of Scottsdale, Ariz] said in the L.A. Times article on Marketplace.
