Website update: We updated our basic on-page SEO. This affects Google/Bing search when folks want to look up the website and get descriptions and sharing pages. We like to think these details are always there, but no, we need to add them.

About: On June 22, 2018, 35-year-old scientist Tristan Beaudette is brutally murdered in front of his two young daughters while camping in idyllic Malibu Creek State Park.
It oscillates between the dark gravity of Beaudette’s killing and the goofiness of the Malibu setting, cutting what could be a straightforwardly told story with a slightly ironic eye. The combination is captivating.

Turn to the Nerds! With Paramount+ launching (not an ad), the studio has been expanding the Star Trek Universe in the last couple of years. In September 2020, an official Star Trek interview podcast was launched with comedian Paul F. Tompkins, and Tawney Newsome (Star Trek: Lower Decks animation). If you are a Star Trek fan - go ahead, enjoy the nerdiness. It’s great. I’ve enjoyed episodes with Reza Aslan, Stacey Abrams, and Ben Stiller. As a starter, I recommend the Tig Notaro episode. She’s a deadpan comedian and I find it funny that I can’t tell if she’s telling the truth in her stories half the time.
